NON-IMMORTALITY
The practical master's diploma project, carried out in the Studio of Open Interpretations of Art under prof. dr. hab. R. Łubowski and asst. A. Radziszewski, confronts the viewer with the phenomenon of death and immortality. By creating a reflective space in which photographs, a film, and a spatial object are placed, the recipients are invited to engage in ambiguous reflections and to immerse themselves in the created symbolic-emotional situation. The self-portrait – a death mask, which is the central element of the project, along with photographic self-portraits and a film showing an ultrasound examination of the author – alludes to mortality, the cyclic nature of life, potential rebirth, and everything "in between" life and passing
